Teaterkarriere

Hun mottok Heddaprisen i 1998 for lysdesignet på Tabu og Babels barn med Nasjonalballetten. Hun var Festspillkunstner ved Festspillene i Nord-Norge i 2001. Her designet og produserte hun danseforestillingen Rett etter midnatt, og gjorde lysinstallasjonen Nighthearing for fargedøve.

Kristin Bredal eier og driver lysdesignkontoret ZENISK as, og jobber med lyskonsepter for byrom, utstillingsdesign og arkitektonisk belysning. For Den Norske Opera & Ballett i Bjørvika har Kristin blant annet designet lys for Dead Beat Escapement og balletten Ghost. Arbeidene hennes inkluderer lysdesign for Alice in Wonderland, Entführung ausdem Sera ved Genèveoperaen og scenografi og lyssetting for sjakk ved Gøteborgoperaen. I 2017 designet hun lys for Tryllefløyten på Fredriksten
norway flag Theatre Career. She received the Hedda Prize in 1998 for the lighting design on Tabu and Babel’s children with the National Ballet. She was a Festival artist at the Festival in Northern Norway in 2001. Here she designed and produced the dance performance Right after Midnight, and did the light installation Nighthearing for the coulor deaf.

Kristin Bredal owns and operates the lighting design office ZENISK as, and works with lighting concepts for urban spaces, exhibition design and architectural lighting. For the Norwegian Opera & Ballet in Bjørvika, Kristin has, among other things, designed candles for Dead Beat Escapement and the ballet Ghost. Her works include lighting design for, Alice in Wonderland, Entführung ausdem Sera at the Geneva Opera and scenography and lighting for Chess at the Gothenburg Opera. In 2017, she designed candles for The Magic Flute at Fredriksten.
